1.1 These Terms and Conditions (“Campaign T&C”) govern participation in the EVIS RM2 Ergonomic Desk Campaign (“Campaign”) and shall be read together with the General Terms and Conditions published on evis.com.my, which are incorporated herein by reference. In the event of any inconsistency, these Campaign T&C shall prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
1.2 By participating in this Campaign, you (“Participant”) confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Campaign T&C in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must not proceed with participation.
2.1 This Campaign is exclusively open to the following categories of individuals who are currently employed and in active service at the time of claim:
Federal and State Government employees of Malaysia
Employees of statutory bodies (e.g. EPF/KWSP, SOCSO, JKR, LHDN)
Employees of Government-Linked Companies (GLCs) (e.g. PETRONAS, Telekom Malaysia, CIMB, Maybank)
Staff of public universities and government-funded educational institutions
2.2 Each Participant is limited to one (1) claim per MyKad identification number. Multiple claims using the same IC number will be automatically rejected.
2.3 Employees of private sector companies are not eligible for this Campaign. A separate campaign for the private sector may be announced at EVIS’s sole discretion at a future date.
2.4 EVIS reserves the right to verify the employment status of any Participant at any time. Any claim found to have been submitted fraudulently or by an ineligible individual will be cancelled without refund, and EVIS reserves the right to pursue appropriate legal action.
3.1 To successfully claim the RM1 Ergonomic Desk, a Participant must complete all of the following steps in full:
(a) Submit their full name as per MyKad
(b) Provide their MyKad (IC) number for e-invoicing purposes
(c) Select their employee type / government department or GLC from the provided list
(d) Provide a valid email address and successfully verify it via One-Time Password (OTP)
(e) Select a preferred collection or delivery method
(f) Complete payment of RM2.00
3.2 Failure to complete any one of the above steps will result in the claim being considered incomplete and invalid. EVIS shall not be obligated to honour incomplete claims, and no refund shall be issued for any partial payment made in connection with an incomplete submission.
3.3 EVIS reserves the right to forfeit any claim where a Participant is found to have provided false, inaccurate, or misleading information at any stage of the participation process.
4.1 This Campaign is limited to a maximum of 500 (five hundred) units of EVIS Ergonomic Desk, allocated strictly on a first come, first served basis. Completion of the claim process does not guarantee fulfilment if stock has been exhausted prior to your submission being processed.
4.2 EVIS reserves the right to notify Participants in the event that claims cannot be fulfilled due to stock exhaustion. In such circumstances, the RM2.00 payment shall remain chargeable and shall be retained by EVIS. For the avoidance of doubt, all payments made are final, non-refundable, non-transferable, and shall not be subject to any reimbursement or compensation for any reason whatsoever.
4.3 EVIS makes no warranty or representation that stock will remain available throughout the Campaign Period.
5.1 The RM2 Ergonomic Desk provided under this Campaign is subject to availability of stock at EVIS’s sole and absolute discretion. Participants acknowledge and agree that:
(a) The colour, finish, and specifications of the desk unit to be fulfilled are determined solely by EVIS and may vary from any images displayed in campaign materials;
(b) Participants shall have no right to request or select a specific colour, finish, size, or specification;
(c) EVIS reserves the right to substitute the desk unit with a product of equivalent or higher value without prior notice.
5.2 All products are covered by a one (1) year warranty from the date of collection or delivery, subject to the warranty terms published on evis.com.my.
6.1 The campaign price for the EVIS Ergonomic Desk is RM2.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: Two only) per unit.
6.2 All refunds processed under this campaign are subject to a third-party payment gateway processing fee of 3% + RM1.00 per transaction. This fee is charged by our payment processor and is non-refundable. The processing fee will be deducted from the refundable amount before the balance is disbursed to the original payment method. Refunds will typically be processed within 14 business days, subject to the payment gateway’s and bank’s settlement timeline.
6.3 All payments made in connection with this Campaign — including the RM2.00 desk price, any applicable delivery charges (RM120.00), and professional installation fees (RM150.00) — are strictly non-refundable once the transaction is confirmed, except as expressly provided under Clause 4.2 (stock exhaustion).
6.4 EVIS shall not issue refunds on the basis of change of mind, dissatisfaction with product colour or specifications, or failure to collect within the stipulated collection period.
6.5 An e-invoice will be issued to the Participant’s registered IC number and email address in accordance with the requirements of the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (LHDN).
7.1 By default, all fulfilled units are available for self-collection at EVIS’s designated store location(s). Participants who opt for self-collection will be notified of the collection address and available time slots via their registered email address following successful payment.
7.2 Delivery to a Participant’s specified address is available at an additional charge of RM120.00 per desk, applicable within Peninsular Malaysia. Additional charges may apply for Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan — EVIS will notify the Participant prior to confirmation.
7.3 Professional assembly and installation services are available at an additional charge of RM150.00 per desk, subject to availability and geographical coverage.
7.4 Delivery lead time is estimated at 7 to 14 working days from the date of payment confirmation. EVIS shall not be liable for delays arising from circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
8.1 All personal data collected from Participants in connection with this Campaign — including but not limited to full name, IC number, email address, employer information, and delivery address — will be collected, processed, stored, and used strictly in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia and EVIS’s Privacy Policy available at evis.com.my.
8.2 Participant data will be kept strictly private and confidential and will not be sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party for commercial purposes without the Participant’s consent, except as required by applicable law or for the purpose of fulfilling the Campaign (e.g. delivery logistics partners).
8.3 By participating, Participants consent to EVIS contacting them via their registered email address for purposes related to Campaign fulfilment, warranty, and relevant EVIS product updates. Participants may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVIS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from or in connection with a Participant’s participation in this Campaign, including but not limited to loss of income, loss of business opportunity, or any dissatisfaction with product specifications.
9.2 EVIS’s total aggregate liability to any Participant under or in connection with this Campaign shall not exceed the amount paid by such Participant (i.e. RM1.00, and applicable service charges).
10.1 EVIS reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to amend, suspend, extend, or terminate this Campaign or any part of these Campaign T&C at any time without prior notice.
10.2 Any amendments will be effective immediately upon publication on evis.com.my or the campaign landing page. Continued participation following such publication constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
10.3 EVIS reserves the right to disqualify and forfeit the claim of any Participant who violates these Campaign T&C, engages in fraudulent conduct, or abuses the Campaign in any manner, without obligation to provide a refund.
11.1 These Campaign T&C shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Campaign shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
12.1 These Campaign T&C are supplementary to and shall be read in conjunction with EVIS’s General Terms and Conditions, Return & Warranty Policy, and Privacy Policy, all of which are accessible at evis.com.my. To the extent permitted, all such terms apply to this Campaign.
